There are plenty of wheels out there to choose from : RC Components, Hogpro, Renegade, Wicked Image, Performance Machine, Coastal Moto etc. Go to your local magazine shop & buy a Hot Bike Baggers magazine and it will be full of possibilities. Sept. 2009 issue has lots of wheels in it.

Unless you have a good reason to do it, I wouldn't. I did and sometimes wish I hadn't. I especially don't like the way the front wheel handles now.

Hard to explain, but you know how skinny front wheels follow ruts in the road? Well when I went from 16" to 18" on my RK, it was noticeable where when I had 16's it was so bad. Not a biggie, but I don't like it.

I went from 16" to the 18" and wouldnt go back. The looks are one thing, but the handling seems much better. JMO

Overall handling I wouldn't argue with you, but the front seems more sensitive to road irregularities. I have Metzler 130 880's on the front and 150's on the back. I kind of miss my short, fat tires.
The only reason I got 18" wheels was to better show off the 80 spoke wheels.
You get something, you give something up I guess.
