Bike and year?... is it a road king nacelle..the spear?
screw?
very limited iformation for those that can not see the bike.
Taking a guess:
road king top trim piece on headlight nacelle (spear) has one screw/bolt and other end has thread cutting nut. If caution is not taken the thread cutting nut will break nipple it is screwed to easily.
Possible solutions:
if enough of nipple remains use different nut.
or use #3M brand double side tape tape (in red roll) to hold spear onto headlight. It will hold up to a few lbs. and that piece weighs nothing...or replace.
yes that is the part i guessed.
The nacelle is the common name for entire metal housing for headlight.
The common name for your part(picture) is the spear.
not an uncommon part to have the tip broken off.
you can try the #3M brand foam double side tape available at lowes or home depot and just place some under the spear or purchase a new spear..consider ebay.

actually, it has the one thread cutting nut, the screw/bolt is actually part of the headlight riser cover which has a notch in it and the spear has a tab that fits into that notch.
p/n: 67868-03. runs less than $20.00 from zanotti's.
Hi all. Got a new part like this (67899-04) and notice the 'bolt' that goes into the nacelle isn't threaded. I saw Skratch said it had one single thread cutting nut. Anyone know the PN for that or where I can get one easy.
