Fire in the wrong hole.

I have an 06 Street Glide with ESFI that had a 2 into 1 Thunder header with a power commander, stage one download, and the 8 degree injectors. It sounded like junk so I went back to the stock exhaust for now. NOW my pipes get see through red right at the cylinders, and I get a coughing noise out of the air cleaner, when it has sat for and hour or more, before it stalls out. I took off the air cleaner to see what the noise was, and right behind the intake runner (the butterfly like flap) there was fire coming out. Can someone help me. I don't have 1000 bucks for a guy to just look at the dumb thing.

Thunderheaders are junk. Pay up sucker...get it tuned!

Was it running fine with the thunder header on? If so put it back on...It obviously sounds like the "dumb thing" has been tuned to run with the 2 into 1 pipe if it ran fine prior to you swapping out the exhaust.

It was doing the popping and fire thing with the 2 into 1 on. The pipes glowing just happened from switching to the stock pipes.

I would agree with getting it tuned, the coughing weezing is probibly from detonation from the glowing exaust pipes, when you don't want it rather then from the spark plubs when you do want it.
