Default 8" Clearview w/ recurve

I want to try the clearview shields with recurve. I bought a Cee Bailey SST, it works great, but I would like a different look. How do you guys like the recurve shields? I have a long trip in two weeks and went to buy one on their website, and they have 3-4 week lead time on them... So not sure if I want to try that. Anyone have one for sale? Thanks for any info!

I've had 2 they work and look great, just be patient when you order it. It takes awhile to get one.

I've had 2 also. The one currently on my bike is an 8" I bought that was supposedly blemished but I could never find a problem with it. You might try the blemished route to save time and a couple bucks.

I'm 6' with 32 inseam and ride sitting up pretty straight (bad back) and I love my 9 1/2" Clearview with recurve, but if you are in a hurry try a "Long Ride Shileds".

He's a Forum member and sponser: http://harleyshields.com/

He has a lot in stock and ships pretty fast from what people have been saying.

Here's athread that a memeber did compairing the Long Ride to the Clearview:

I have a 6.5" Clearview with recurve , love it . Low enough to keep the style , high enough to protect year round.
