I was just reading a thread about Cruise Control and thought of a question I've had but never remember to ask at the dealer or when riding with others. I have an '05 RG and seldom use the cruise but when I do, I am always unsure whether it is OK to leave my hand on the throttle. When I've ridden with the cruise on I've never detected the throttle moving but don't want to harm the cables or connections if they are in use during the cruise engage. Looked in the manuel and it is silent on that. So, can you keep your right hand on the grip when cruise is engaged?

Yep, I do it all the time. And you can feel the throttle moving.
....... absolutely you can keep your hands on the grip.
You'll feel the grip move when the cruise accelerates your scooter, just lighten up on your hold & let'r go.
Just used mine a lot in Wyoming and South Dakota. Did about 1500 miles. Used the cruise during a good part of the trip. Did not feel my throttle move at all, and I keep my hand there all the time. Mine may be electronic cruise though. (?)
