I agree with you about the loud pipes. I went with the S&S slip on
stainless ovals. Great sound, not loud at all.

Hey Phil, thanks for the suggestion for the D&D exhaust. I ended up going by there today and I bought a set of their new Interceptor Police pipes.
I was very impressed with the build quality....solid stainless steel, polished to a chrome like finish. They will be able to be polished over and over as the need arises down the road....no pun intended
The interior packing looks very substantial and I'll be able to have them repacked if needed.
I wasn't able to hear them on a bike, but I took them on their word that they are a little more throaty than stock, but not as loud as SE's.
I'll be putting them on when I get the bike back from the cam and AC upgrade. Then it's on to get the EFI remapped.
