A couple weeks ago my scoots speedo quit just before the bike did. Craig told me about a similar problem with his bike and we tracked the problem to a faulty speed sensor (the tech at the dealer said his diagnostic didn't pick the problem up). Once it was replaced, we got the bike back on the road and my wife and I were able to take a long planned 4-day weekend
I did a search on this topic and found out that it wasn't that uncommon a problem.
Another THANKS to all you forum members who regularly report on these problems...and to those who don't yell at us who are slow to use the SEARCH function.

Wasn't this the same problem that Steve had on the Green Chili Run II? I had one go out on my bike, but since it's carbureted, I only lost the spedo, AVC, cruise, and turn signal cancelling...
