2000 Ultra Classic. I'm going to replace the SE slip ons with eithehr the Rush or the Pythons. I have the Rush on a Heritage and love them. I have heard that they are to loud to hear the stereo on the classic. I've had the Pythons recomended. I have not heard them. Any comments about the sound and/or performance would be appreciated.

I have the Rush slipons with the 1.75" baffles on my '08 and can hear the stereo just fine even with my 3/4 helmet on.
Is there any reason why you didnt go with the 2.5 pipes??
I have Rush 2.5 and they don't sound that bad. Really nice sound at idle, cruising, or getting on it. I have the se255 cams and they make more of a thumping at idle too. Put in extra packing in before I installed.
I didn't go with the 2.5's to keep the noise down to a degree so I could hear the radio. Also the folks at Rush said the 2' would be better for the TC88 as far as back pressure.
