Go for Ultra with it's extra goodies and get it over with. Extra Coin...So what !. You can't take it with you 6 feet below when your time's up.

Up untill recently i was riding an '06 883 sporty. Last week i went and bought a 1989 Electra Glide Classic. I cannot express enough what a difference it is. It is definately the best move i've ever made. As for the detachable tour pac, i personally wouldn't bother. The storage space is excellent.

Good luck with whatever you decide. Ride safe.

I am like most I love my EGC. EGC is the best bang for the buck without a dought. I like most had no need for the lowers, rear speakers and I damn sure did not want to be able to listen to the wife non stop while riding. So I spent the spare $2000 on pipes, programmer and chrome. I think you made one hell of a good choice.

I spent the same money as a UC on my EGC ( motor upgrade). Dont' really care for a cb or intercom. Love a Hot Rod Geezer glide. Oh, You will never go back to riding those dirt bikes.

2006 FLHTC here... Love it! I will agree with the others on the tourpak. When I got my bike I was thinking that the quick disconnect would be the first purchase. Well, a couple of days later and I found out how handy that thing is. Needless to say, I have not taken it off and don't plan on it.

Anyway, they are GREAT bikes!

The greatest investment you will ever make!!!!! I have had an '04 EGC for 3 years and love it!!! I have logged 20K with and would only go to an Ultra after this. The bagger has tons of room for the wifes pretties and then a LITTLE bit of room for yours afterwards!!!!!!! LMFAO!!!!!!! You won't look back.
