There are a lot of commercial garages that use waste oil furnaces (these are in fact EPA-approved) and they LIKE to get the waste oil. I understand that these furnaces, due to their design, use roughly two to three times as much waste oil as they would if they were conventional oil furnaces, so they consume a lot.

So that's where my waste oil goes.

Pour in the gutter J/K. Take the old oil to a Autoparts store. Also you may as well invest in a collection container that will hold about 7-8 quarts of oil so that you can do several oil changes before making the trip to dump the oil.

Thanks in advance
Toss it on the neighbors grass.

I just take my old oil down to the dealer where they have a guy out back with a funnel who puts it into the Syn3 bottles and then they sell it.

Funny thing is that my used Amsoil is better than the new Syn3 so they are actually doing the right thing.
