Fairing mirrors

I wanted to add fairing mirrors on my ultra? I never has a FLHX so I'm wondering if the FLHX guys likes and dislikes

Don't wast your money. Although they look cool they are not as funtional as the higher handlebar mounted mirrors. I have removed mine from my '06 SG, got tired of looking at my hands

I have had them on my last 3 bikes, I really like the cleaner look and can see better with them, than the stock ones.

i know i saw a picture on here at one point of someone who had multiple sets of mirrors. Regular handlebar mirrors, fairing mounted mirrors, additional handlebar mirrors, i think you could see everywhere around the bike!

With stock bars, they were a pain. I solved the problem by putting 14" apes on and now there's no problem at all.

Best thing is to go test ride an SG. I thought I would hate them, but I don't have any problem at all. I think it all has to do with your eye height.

I have them and I like them alot. They are on my EGC. You have to adjust them out alittle more and Once you get used to them you won't want to go back.

if you seeing only your hands you might have the template that was screwed up. see if a adjustment can be made if not look at the mods to cover up the holes and go back to stock

I think I read on here somewhere, that someone suggested when you mount the mirrors....move them a 1/4 inch out from where they normally would be. I don't know how much affect that would have. Maybe someone here has done it?
I thought about putting them on my bike but never got to it.
