Default Best storage wheel chock

I'm looking for a wheel chock to keep in my garage to store my street glide on for the winter. I'm not planning to do any trailoring with it. Which do you think would be the best for this purpose?

In my opinion, it depends on how much you want to $pend. The Harbor Freight tool one for around $60 bucks would work fine or you could go over $200 bucks and get a Condor aluminum one. Personally I built my own out of steel and it works great.

I bought the one from Harbor Freight on sale for around $40. It works just fine for me.

I am sure someone will dissagree with me, but i always store my bike on the jack for the winter, which i feel is a much better option. That way both tires ore off the ground and there is no chance of getting flat spots from sitting in the same spot for extended periods of time. I use a cheap lift from Sams Club and it hold the Ultra just fine. I dont remember exactly what it cost's, but it was $125-$175 and is handy for washing the bike as it gets everything up higher and much easier to get to.

I don't put mine up for the winter we ride all year down here, but I have the aluminum condor. Works great.

J & S makes them also. I am happy with the jack I got from them as are a ton of forum members.

As mentioned above the condor gets good reviews.

Wheel dock is a forum sponsor they have them as well.

IMHO agree with you 102%. Gets the tires off the ground and takes the weight of the bike off the suspension. A motorcycle jack or lift costs less than $100 and is worth every cent. I personally would not store a bike just using a wheel chock.

Glad to hear some of you put it up on a jack. This is what I have always done. Fill the gas tank, add fuel stabalizer, and plug in the Battery Tender and no problems in spring.
