Question for those running Rush mufflers

If you are running Rush mufflers with a 1.75 baffle on a late model bike with stock air filter and no down load or fuel management how do the mufflers respond on deceleration, is there any popping, back firing ect ?

I'm running exactly that, and if you really try you can get alittle popping during deceleration. But normally no popping and I've never backfired.

Same here!
It cooled my bike down, but I think I had a problem with the stock mufflers.

I have a little over 6000 miles on mine and no popping or backfireing at all, they sound good and were easy to put on with no alignment problems like some of the slip-ons have.

My 1450 has them also and I ran stock forever and wish I had put them on when it was new. I can make them pop but I have to make it happen. The sound is great.

No popping in my '09 RK. I have 1.75 baffles also. But I also have upgraded A/C, bigger breather and Stage I download, so not quite the same set-up.

same setock setup with rush slip ons, and never had a problem with backfiring and also love the sound.

My RKC had RUSH mufflers on it when I got it. I hated those muffler and yes, they did pop on deceleration. It didn't take me long to decide they had to go. Mine were 2.5 and I had considered changing the baffles but I didn't like the straight cut either so I replaced them with Rinehart's.
