I really like the velcro idea. Then it's out of the way, and easy to detach or attach. Is that adhesive on the velcro strong to hold? That's the only thing that scares me a little bit. The Industrial Velcro will hold.....We used it to attach the radar gun control boxes on the dashboards of police cars and they did not move.....
Problem is, where do you find room to mount a GPS unit with the 4.3" screens without blocking your speakers or gauges??
I've got the detachable fairing from Dead Center, so I don't have the guages above the stereo/CD Player. I was planning on trying to mount it right in the center above the stereo if that stuff will hold. Where do you get industrial Velcro, and how is it different from regular Velcro?
