Thanks for the instructions.. i got them in before the instructions got to me, I shrink wrapped all the wires, controls separate then tbw used a 1/8" metal wire to pull them with a load of wire pull lube.
I had them pulled in 20 min
Dave the gap i have is between the inner fairing and the black piece where the ignition switch sits at....i dont see why my brake line would make a difference in this case but ill check....my buddy has the same bars that were installed by the dealer and he has a gap also, i was just wondering if the bars are too big so thats where the gap comes from....thx for any help you can give me on this matter. i'm a perfectionist when it comes to things like that and its bother me very much.....thx again
Can you take a picture and post it? Maybe includes a couple of different angles? I've heard of some guys having issues with HD poly bushings raising the bars up a bit. I didn't have that issue but that would cause a gap. After they settle a bit you might retorque them to see is they squish down some.
does anyone have a written or photographed picture of the three connectors? Specifically I'm looking for confirmation of the pictures I took prior to removing the pins/wires and extending. Please post here, or email: texas.captain@gmail.com . I've seen a few pics on this and other threads, but was wondering if someone had the whole lot in one place. thanks in advance.
