You guys obviously are not reading through this thread. You are missing a lot of good info and asking TexasSG for a lot of needless e-mails by being so lazy. Back in post #768 of this thread Ram was nice enough to setup a Dropbox so all the e-mail requests would stop. I was nice enough to go back and find it for everyone. I hope this puts an end to the e-mail requests. Here ya go:
Could you come and install my bars for me? Thanks.
New to this forum, and just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has taken time out to help others out . I have read through all of the posts on this thread, and am now waiting for my bars to come in. Gonna do black fork lowers and install Rockford Fosgate pbr300x2 and J&M rokkers all at the same time. Thanks again
I'm in the process of installing my 10" MBB and had a question about routing the TBW wires. I bought a NAMZ extention kit to use. Do I just need to remove the pins from the green plug from the TBW, route the TBW cable, add extensions then re-pin the green plug? The other option I hear people doing is getting the CVO Twist Grip Sensor that has longer wires. This is the one I think they are talking about.
Another question...I here people replacing the poly bushings for the risers. Should I do this for 10" bars? Thanks!
I just cut out the green plug and soldered in extensions. Worked fine! Solder those Namz extensions so they don't come apart when you're pulling through the bars. Use some conduit lube from Lowes. Kinda messy on the hands but works. And definitely get the bushings. I think they're under $100 and it's worth the piece of mind and your bars will be more solid. They're really easy to change out and might as well while the bike is apart.

Okay I knew that the right side was going to be a PITA but how do I get the right side controls through the bar after I already have the TBW routed? What is the trick? I've tried three different times and this damn point on the corner of the bars is killing me. I'm about to ditch these Yaffee MBB's.

I somehow missed this post in May. I hope you realized you do not need extensions for 10's. Yes, I bought that CVO TBW b/c it eliminates the green plug that makes it impossible to run the wires. Some solder instead. I don't trust my soldering and felt more comfortable buying the CVO TBW instead.
Current question. I ran all wires together. Control wires and TBW wires. I should have just cut the heated grip wires but didn't. I also bought 1/2 shrink tubing. I figured out what slack I'd need at the grip end, and then pushed all the wires through the shrink tubing. Some might recommend actually shrinking the tubing afterwards but I did not. Ended up using it as more or a sheath. Lube the hell outta the bars. Then it is a matter of patiently pushing and pulling till they are through. It is slow and you wonder if the wires are even moving but they eventually come out the other end. You've seen the push/pull method right?
I'm loosing my F' $%^ mind! I got the TBW through then I couldn't get the control bundle through. Removed the TBW wire bundle then got the control bundle through. Tried all day to day to get the TBW through and no luck. Pulled the control bundle back out of the bars then found the shrink wrap that I had on the bundle had bunched up and that was what was stopping the TBW bundle to get through. So tomorrow I'm going to give it another try. Should I try to run both bundles together for the right side? If I don't have any succes tomorrow I'l just going to take the bars controls to the local Harley shop and have them do it.

Yes I would definitely run both together. If there are any spots in the wires make sure they don't bunch up together. Heck, why am I saying this all again? I just looked at my previous post and I've already told you all of this...
