I thought you guys might be interested in seeing pictures of these mirrors mounted on a bike.
I installed mine in replacement of the HD Fairing mirrors and I am very pleased with them, at least visually. It's too cold to go for a ride now so I'll have to wait to see how they perform in terms of rear visibility but although they use the same holes as the HD mirrors, they extend further out so they should provide better vision. They also come with LEDs connected to the turn signal harness and they're 100% plug and play.
The quality of the pictures is so-so but they'll still give you a good idea of what they look like. Tell me what you think.

They look good on the bike. I assume that you will be able to see better because of the wider spread. Bye the way, what is the brand of that windshield pouch. I like the way it wraps around the inner fairing.

Yes I did. It's very easy to do with the harness they provide. It's 5mn per side, totally plug and play.
Another plus for the Kuryakyn mirrors vs. the Harley chrome covers with LEDs (made by Kuryakyn by the way), is that you don't have to drill an extra hole to pass the wires through. The wires run inside the arm and through the stud. Very clean install.
Good looking mod. Kury makes some quality parts. am going to go to a faring mounted mirror too, will consider the Kuries.
I bought a pair of used HD fairing mirrors first. They're 100% plastic. Cheap junk. One of the 2 plastic studs snapped when I tightened the mirror to the fairing. I set my torque wrench at 25 in-lbs. The instructions said 20-30 in-lbs. Another thing is there's no possible tightening of the swivel. If it becomes loose, and one of mine was, you're screwed.
Think twice before you go the HD mirror route. You get what you pay for.
