I just wanted to post a "Thank you" for all the great information and help I have received on this forum since I joined this summer. I purchased my first HD, a 2009 Ultra Classic back in June, and have been reading and participating since then. I just did my clutch adjustment and oil change myself at 5k this weekend; everything went smooth mostly because of information I found on this site. Here are a couple of examples:
The Torx bolts on the derby cover are a T-27. A member here had posted that most sets skip that size and people that are unfamiliar would try to use a T-25 and then strip the bolt. I picked up a T-27; I wouldn't have known about it without that post.
Another post showed a video of a clutch adjustment; worked great. I May have been lost without it asI have never done my own MC maintenance.
In addition; I received a few great ideas for shops that have reasonable service rates here in the Las Vegas area; I will certainly use them in the future.
Thank you all again. I hope I can be of assistance to you all in the future.
I've been on the board a while longer than you, but I to would like to say "Thanks" for all that help, those that gave a answer to one of my stupid questions, post helpful tips, tricks and video's to help us all...
You guys and gals rock!
Merry Christmas to all.
and please keep posting the information and tips...lord knows I need them!
If you don't mind, I'll chip in too! Thanks to everyone for all of the help, suggestions, insults and everything else. I've used info from here to do some things that I may have otherwise taken the machine in for. You've save me money and helped me to wrench my own ride. Thanks!

I'll second or third whats been already posted here. Every time I get ready to do anything to the bike, the current Street Glide or in the past my Street Bob this would be my first stop.
Also learned about the T-27 here when I changed out the derby cover on the Bob and everything went smooth as silk.
When ever I'm out and somebody asks me a question I always tell them they need to check this place out as it has a wealth of information and great people.
I've been on here <1 month less than dawg, and I spend too much time on here (according to my wife ) yet I have 9,000 less posts, WTF?............ But I can tell you, I have learned a lot from this forum and even noticed my skin is like leather because of it
