I have about 28,000 on my 07 road king and the tensioners still look very good. There are several threads on the forum. This is a good one and may be of some help. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
Just checked my 07 roadking with 40k, both looked like new, the rear one is a PITA, but worth the price of a new gasket to know their not going to fail on a roadtrip, cheers
Dalton just pulled his 120 apart to check things out. I believe he has 45,000 miles on the hydraulics and they looked pretty much brand new other than darker in color from the oil.

Those look like they would easily go to 100k miles. Good to know.
Heard of one guy saying at 89,000 miles, his were wearing out. Well, that' not bad. I believe they are scheduled for inspection at 75,000 miles from what I hear.
Does anyone know if these new tensioners are retrofit-able?
My Bro-n-laws 2000 B motor Fatboy is probably due (12,000 miles) and I wanted to tackle it BEFORE a road trip breakdown.
He's not "IN TO" maintainence!
I was trying to cheap out. I don't want him to spend the $500 (for the kit) for a maintainence issue.
Of course I could put some cams in at the same time.
Still alot of cash though!
