Talking Handlebars

I'm 6'2" eyes of blue, STOP! Sorry I was getting carried away with myself. As I was saying 6"2", 32" sleeve length, short arms for my height. Stock handle bars on my 07 streetglide pain my upper back & shoulders. Getting ready to paint the beast and want to change out the bars, looking for suggestions. Since I'm here, I have a sundowner two up seat, I'd like to purchase a comfortable good looking solo seat. What say you? Ok Ok something else I feel a little cramped in the legs too. Any suggestions on a remedy, such as floor board/brake pedal extensions, etc.

I purchased this bike last year after my 99' Roadking was stolen. After ten years and 60K miles it was perfect. Bought the SG primarily for the tunes.
Steetglide eyes of blue this forum is great & so are you.
(Couldn't help myself)

First you have to decide if you want to use the stock fairing mirrors as a bunch of awesome choices may/will interfere with the mirrors. I like the khromewerks +2 sweepers. Wild1 575's are another popular choice. Klock Werks ergo bars are yet another popular choice.

Hey pp07streetglide, this ain't no place for no Brokeback Mountain stories....

But the first and easiest remedy is IMO highway pegs. I have mine on a mustache bar and although I have the Heavy Breather which negaetes the possibility of fully utilizing it for my right leg I have numerous options of where to put my feet.

I have been on the forum now for a few years.

Biggest question for new members

Need advice on seat

Need advice on bars

Both are hard to answer because even if we are the same size - we all have different likes and dis-likes

best suggestion is to learn the "SEARCH" button above and get some coffee or a beer and sit back and enjoy Hours of reading..

enjoy your search

As Dawg says,,, 575's

This is great start, I will start the search today and look into the 575's, Klockwerks more so. I've seen both these bars referenced before, must be a good choice.

Brokeback Mountain, never been there. Is that in Colorado?
