Default Here's My Dyno Sheet

I had hoped for more power and attribute the loss to the TD's and the 255's for dropping off at the end. I believe a 2-1 exhaust would have done me best but just love the looks of the TD's.

I just like power and wanted more but she takes off well and runs flawlessly.

I'd be interested in your comments about the outcome.

Doesn't look too bad to me! 103 torque would be nice. And it's right where you need it between 2K and 4K. Enjoy!

Thats pretty typical HP #'s and even a little higher than most for TQ. The dip in the low RPM's could be fixed with some washer baffles.

If it runs good, has excellent manners and ridability, gets good gas mileage, toss the dyno paper in the trash and enjoy the ride.

Personally, dyno sheets don't mean much 'cause I'm not running WOT. If you have good throttle response, smooth running, and good mpg, be happy. There's too much variance from dyno to dyno, bike-to-bike to worry about 3-5 hp or tq.

You're making 90 ft/lbs at 1800 rpms. You bike is launching hard and "running flawlessly". And you're unhappy? About what... your dyno sheet?

Some guys get all wrapped around the axle with their dyno sheets. I saw one guy's post where he took his dyno numbers and then adjusted them up about 10 percent because he figured that's what his bike would have dyno'd at if it had been done on a different machine. And then posted those adjusted numbers in his sig! Well, I guess if those numbers are that important to you, then getting them on a calculator is probably the cheapest way to do it.

Dyno sheets are a tool, not an end goal. Your bike is running flawlessly? Congratulations, well done, I say. Stick the dyno sheets in a file folder and get on your bike and ride. Those numbers look pretty good anyway, and pretty close to what I would expect with your build.

(I totally understand your decision on mufflers, btw. I'm willing to sacrifice the performance gains of a 2-1 system for the look and sound of dual mufflers. I'm not racing.)

Chasing #'s gets expensive REAL fast. Enjoy the ride and dont think about the #'s.

Btw, when was the last time you lined up a set of ultra's at the track?

No no gents, you got me wrong, I'm happy with the improvement over stock and wouldn't sacrifice reliability and smooth running, just saying kind of that I wish we could have 150 lbs torque and all the above.

And no it ain't for drag racing but it would be nice to have both the cake and eating it too.

Who doesn't yearn for 600 hp muscle cars

I was just wanting to make sure if anyone saw anything of interest compared to other dyno sheets, not as much for the results but the curves and anything data perticular.

It has the SEST to answer the earlier question.

Thanks for the replies.

What city in Id. was the dyno? What elevation? Last year myself and two buddies had our bikes dynoed on a 250i at 3400 feet elevation and then drove to Latus Motors in Or. (sea level) and had them dynoed again on a 250i. Guess what we all made more power at sea level. Correction factor at sea level was 1.01 and around 1.15 at elevation. Even tho the correction factor is supposed to correct for elevation it really did not. Buddy that has a 117" made around 15/15 less at elevation, other buddy 95, 37 cams made 98 hp/103 tq at sea level and at elevation was 94/84. my hp was close but my torq was 6 fl/lbs higher at sea level. So even tho dyno 250's are supposed to be consistent they are not.
