XM Weather - question??

I have a Garmin Zumo 450 and it works great and it does all that I 'Need'

However, I have gotten the "wants" for a XM Weather set up.. Would really be nice to know what that big black cloud in front is...

However, really do not want to pitch the 450 and drop another $$$$$$$$$$$$ for the 550 or 650

So, does anyone know of another way to get XM Weather that won't break my C/C ??

I have the weather feature with my 550 and the map display does not really help. It is more of a cartoon looking map than a real map. The only reason I got the weather feature is I had some credit on my account and the only thing I could really use it for was adding weather. The forecast feature is nice because it gives you an "idea" of the chance of rain for the area. Overall I would say it is a poor feature at best.

I have the Roadtech 550 and have looked into the weather "plan". $98 a month !!!

Are they Sirius.....??....sorry

I am going to the Shot Show in Las Vegas in a few weeks.... I plan to visit the Bushnell booth, they have this on the market

It really is a joke, cancelled mine last year along with the traffic. Usually when we're on the long haul there's an Iphone around and we can get real time radar, now that's a help!

If you have a Blackberry or I Phone you can get the weather app for it and you'll have it at your fingertips all the time.

I have a 550 also and was wondering about the Weather add on too. I will be turning on the XM in another month or so. Yah know its funny, before the XM/Sirius merge you could add on another radio as a family package got $6.99. Then they merge and they are supposed to give subscribers a better deal and go ala carte for just what you want and now its MORE than it was before for all the options. Just crazy!!
