Hello all. I introduced myself on the New Members board a couple days ago. I'm now the proud owner of an '05 FLHTI. I'm wondering what some of the common uses for the Acc circuit may be? Switch is on the right side of the fairing and the connector is under the passengers seat. I don't have a tour pack on the bike.
I'm also wondering what shift points (in RPMs) are fairly typical for my bagger. I come from the Metric world where bikes tend to be a little quiter and higher reving. I'm still trying to learn my Glide's "language" when she talks to me.
I'm happy to be aboard and looking forward to being a member of the HD family and this forum.
Shift when it sounds right. I typically shift around 2800-3000 on my Eglide, I generally scoot along no lower than 2500, but sometimes I have been as low as 2000 but I don't like to be. Accessories can be a host of things that you can use the switch for, extra lighting is probably the most common one.
