The 2800 - 3400 RPM is the Range for all types of riding - intown and freeway, it's the sweat spot for engine, hate to lug it below 2600 2 up...
I love the Reinharts, Engine really gained low/mid and top end it was lacking and canot beat the sound... True dual Bub 7, 2into1 VH, were to loud on my FLHX
I will check my 02 sensors as the header is Non-cat-Calif. I wonder if the I should have changed to a 49 state 02 sensors ????
SERT Tuner and SE cams are on my list, but I image less MPG ??
I get 46-48 solo at 55-60 mph
2 up it drops to 44 average +-
70 mph about 42 2up
between 75-80 about 42 best 40 being low
07 Ultra
SE 255 cams
true duals w/Se performance mufflers

There is no difference between o2 sensors. When they degrade your bike will usually run hotter as the ecm will revert to 14.7:1. Also have a look at the TTS tuner instead of the SEST. The old SERT was made by TTS.
I'm getting 41-46 miles per gallon, with a stage III 95". I tuned it myself without a dyno. One time I ran 80-90 miles per hour on a tank and still got 42 miles per gallon. I was the only one on the bike though and that was with a small leak at my fuel rail on top of it. If you have exhausted all the other ideas, consider doing a stage III motor. They will out perform a stage II in mileage and power 24 hours a day.
You gotta have a good tune with what ever build you have.

I'm a Bay Area local and ride the roads in your back yard all the time. Stock my bike averaged 40-42 mpg depending on how much freeway I was riding. After my cams, thunderheader and dyno tune (running pretty fat) I'm getting on average 36. A lot has to do with my right hand. Can't seem to keep from wringing the throttle any more... I haven't done any long trips, but I would suspect I will get about 40 if I keep it under 75.
36 sounds ok at your speeds. I'm always into the throttle and ride pretty aggressive. I'm probably getting a little less than that right now since I just added my cams and the PCV with autotune and keep twisting the grip. I just filled up again today and I'll try and take it easy this tank because I am a little curious about how I'll do with this combo.
