I think there's enough value added to the Limited to make it the touring bike of choice. I really like the 103 motor. It should be standard equipment in all of the touring bikes.[/quote]
I concur...
Had I the extra funds I woudl have one now. I do think the value added options that are standard on the Limited are well worth the money... and when you trade it in eventually you will get a return on your investment.
This is all very helpful info... I'm on the fringe of pulling the trigger on a limited, red&black.
The choice bewteen the the Ultra vs the limited is coming down to appearance & options. The 103 can always be mod'd for more juice later but the overall look of the limited with all the extra goodies is where it's at.
If I need some speed I'll jump on my Silver SERG and twist it up!
Pull the trigger. I did and I'm glad of it! I've had mine 5 weeks and even with all the crappy weather I've managed to get 2000 miles of riding in. 1 up OR 2 up doesn't seem to matter, plenty of torque.
And when warm weather hits, I'll probably replace the header pipes to get rid of the cat's and do the rest of the stage 1 then.
