My 18s came In the mail today from hcc. They were packaged very neat. I cannot wait to get these bad boys on and go freeze my a$$ off when I try em out.
Look forward to seeing pics of them mounted on your RK. I am considering returning to ape hanger 16-18" and am looking at several potential designs. My last set of apes were too narrow for my taste, so I'll be testing a wider set this time out. Did you go with a traditional/classic style or something else (LA Chaopper, Carlini, etc.)?

IMO on a Roadking; the 16 or 18 Carlini gangsters cannot be beat.. They are the best looking bar for a RK... Love the RK but am much more comfortable on my EG, I just feel like I ride "in" it versus "on" it like when Ive ridden RK's. http://www.carlinidesign.com/handleb...angster125.php
Remember, that not all height of bagger apes are create equal. (sure would be easier, huh?)
The 14" Wild 1 is about the same height of the 12" Yaffe Monkey bars which seems to be pretty close to the 13" CycleSmiths (maybe the Wild1s are a little bigger) however with Wild 1 whas more pullback and they are skinnier therefore it would be easier to go with a taller bar.. All items must be taken into account..
Height, Pullback and Width all need to be carefully considered; what works for one person at 5' 10 might not work for the next..

Good point My 16 inch Cyclesmiths actually measure 14 1/2 inches.
