I ordered hills country custom cycles bars. They also sell wild one chubby bars. Less pullback with the hcc bars but otherwise same dimensions as the chubbys.

5'11" and running 18" apes. This seems to be the best fit for me. I tried to go smaller on this one with 16" and it just did not work. They were ok but just not as comfortable and natural as I would like. One thing with apes is that it is not just your height but also your arm length and personal preference on seating position. A BIG decision is not just height but pullback. This number means more than you think. My personal opinion is the smaller the pullback the better the feel. I have run 15-22" apes on my bikes over the years and pullbacks from 6.5-13.5" and can tell you for me that 6.5-10" is the best feeling pullback no matter what height the bar is.

This is good to hear considering I was scared the 18" would be to tall. I'll find out soon enough they are in the shop now. I also got the hcc bars that do have less pullback.

5'11" and I just installed Carlini 18" but they measure a little over 19.5 , it's only a week old now so the verdict is still out on the comfort as I'm still working muscles that didn't work before while riding such as lats for instance, they do get a little sore but it feels like the good gym sore not the back pain sore. on the control side they are like power steering I totally love them. And did I mention they look absolutely stunning? I and everyone I know just love the new look of my bike.

Just ordered HCC 14'' for my E-glide. I have 3'' lowering blocks out back and a Road King custom seat so hopefully that lowers me down enough that the grips are at least level with my shoulders or alil higher

well i got the 18s and i hated them the first day cause it was 35 degrees and i forgot how much i hate riding in the cold. however after a couple of days here in the 80s i gotta say they feel really good and i am getting very used to them. i could have gone 16" and still may, but i doubt it. these 18s feel better everytime i sit on the bike. i want to take the stupid wind deflector off next it blows wind right in the face.
