I recieved my lowering kit from Roadcustoms today. I know a few people on here have already installed them on their bikes. Those of you that have, do you any pics of the install? Looks very easy on the instructions, but i will also like to see it on a bike.
This is a good kit I have had it on 2 bikes. I'm at work so I can't provide pics. There is really nothing to it. Just make sure you don't lay the shocks down or hold them such that the fluid leaks out (not easy to do). I also placed a towel over the mufflers just incase I dropped something.
One other thing, I painted the spacers black because they will eventually start having surface rust.

Reason: spelling and clarification
Great idea on the spacers. I'm gonna go that route too. Thanks for the heads up! Which hole did you use on the kit? They recommend using the middle hole.
I have had the same lowering kit installed on my bike for about two seasons. Great kit. Very easy to install. I had it on the middle setting for a season, then decided to lower it to the lowest setting. with two people on the bike it took the wiring harness and turned it into a birds nest. Check under the fender for clearence or relocate the wiring harness to the side of the fender. good luck
I have it set on the middle with my 13 inch HD shocks and on the first with my 12 inch HD shocks.

Just installed the lowering kit & i have it on the middle setting. Looks great but now i am wondering if it will rub against my wiring harness. Guess i won't know until i go for a ride. How many of y'all have yours on the middle setting? If so, was there any problems besides what BAD05ULTRA said.
