Default Questions about new purchase.
So I like this bike, but not sure about the blacked out motor and other parts. I like the blacked out look, just concerned about certain parts being affected and having issues. Is this anything to be concerned about? Or no worries at all. Thanks for your help.

Dude, not sure what bike you have from your post. What year, model, options, etc.

Post some pic and provide more details. This place is a cesspool of information.

My bad. I thought I had posted the link. It's an 08 in Auburn. They are asking 17,9 or there abouts. The wife hates the white black combo on this thing. I kinda like it, but might actually have the white painted black. Have to figure in that costs too. Mostly just concerned about the blacked out engine and other parts.

all depends on who coated it and turned the wrenches, if it was done right you should be aok..but for that much money I would get a 09 or 10 JMO

I would love to have my motor blacked out like that. Not a fan of the white tins though.

I had a 2005 Road King Custom with the flamed windshield. Found out that white bikes are the slowest Harleys on the road. Every time you get behind someone, they slow down to 5 mph under because they think you are a cop!

True !!! My wife has a white Heritage. It does look sorta like a cop bike.
She wears a white helmet too.
