Not sure what you mean by "Locking it" I never leave my FOB in my bike ,ever , I also never turn my ignition and lock it down in the garage.

Never lock vehicles in my garage. But definitely do if in the driveway. If I had a carport to park a bike I’d chain it to a pole concreted into the ground.

I think u meant to say "front" door!

I do lock my bike in the garage, but for a different reason. I have the older push button fob.

If I lock the bike I won't forget to take the fob with me. You have to double click the fob, which means it's in your hand. When you see the lights flash twice you put the fob in your pocket. So when I stop for gas I can unlock the gas cap!

Don't lock the bike or car in the garage. Lock the car in a parking lot but rarely lock the bike forks.

If someone opens the garage door the house alarm goes off. Then the dog starts barking. Then I go downstairs to see along with Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson. The bike has security, so by the time they roll it out the garage. Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson starts to holler.

I park my bikes in my basement, narrow ramp and Bilco door. Very, very difficult to push a bike up the ramp and you need minimum two people.

That said, all of my bikes are locked, ignition and fork lock is so equipped Then they are all chained to the steel columns. Lastly the keys are in the gun safe.

Wife has internet cameras all over the house, one is in the basement watching the bikes at all times.

I grew up in NYC, old habits and all of that. But when I am away from home, I am not concerned about my bikes

Don’t see a reason not to. Same with setting the alarm. A few seconds and both are done, making it harder to steal the bike.

Necro thread! I don't, and never have locked it while in the garage. No reason not to, I suppose, especially if you have a detached garage without security.

Our garage doors are wired to the security system, and we have a wide angle cam on the driveway. Not that this prevents theft, but at least I will have an alert and a cool video to post when they steal it

My Great Dane is the best security a guy could have. That bastard goes nuts when anybody is near our property.

I never lock my bike or beer in my garage as it's locked and alarmed.

Never lost either...
