Default Squishy front brake help

Newbie here, I have a 02 Road King and my front brakes are squishy to a point where I'm almost pulling all the way to get it to brake. The pads are good and I just bled the brakes, but no help. Any ideas? Thanks,

after trying the caliper cleaning, get some new braided brake lines. you'll notice a huge difference.

My 02 was getting pretty squishy too. I upgraded to braided front brake lines. Squishy no more.

my 03 was the same, had grease from the factory in the calipers. rebuilt the calipers and the problem was gone.

I use speed bleeders. They allow you to bleed the brakes in minutes. Check your brake lines and make sure they are in good shape. Braided lines are far better then stock.

check the brake fluid. depending on the type of fluid it uses, dot 4 or 5, the color will tell you if it needs changed. check the seal on the resivor. if the fluid is off of the original color changing the fluid, can help. just bleed the line and add new fluid as you go, so no air gets in it. once you see the color change close the line and see if that helps. try not to get the fluid on the bike, it may damage the paint or crome. if dosnt work change the line and re-check.

As far as bleeding the brakes and making sure I'm doing it right I'm using silicone dot 5 brake fluid I got from pep boys. When I bleed the brakes I do bleed one side at a time right? I pump the handle several times, sqeeze and hold, unscrew one side until fluid comes out, the handle goes to the grip, I tighten, then pump and start over. Once I do one side I go to the next? Am I doing this right? Thanks
