Hey Nova, you may be correct. I think the road glides are tough looking. I am just concerned about the blast of air I got on the demo ride. Don't get me wrong I rode plenty of bikes with no windshields. I am not looking to smoke a cigar while riding and not loose an ash, or pretend I am driving in a car. I think the small windshields make the bike. Not the factory, but maybe something alittle taller. I would like to take off the crashbar and but on a chin spoiler. That means no lowers. Alot of you guys seem to be running lowers and 16" shields. I don't know if you are trying to get rid of all the air. I realy don't want to spend 20 grand on a bike that I have to change the way it looks in order to enjoy riding it. I wish an 8" shield would work. Spring is almost here, not much time left. I have to decide soon.

Just remember on a RG the fairing sits 3 ft in front of you, there will be more air than the batwing no matter how you cut it.

The Road Glides have grown on me over time. No matter if you have an SG or RG a good windshield and vented lowers make all the difference in the world. About the RG's growing on me. One day I'll test ride one, but for now I have no plans on getting rid of my SG.
