I had a stage I SE air cleaner on my '06 EG Classic. Had it on there for almost 4 years. Two weeks ago I changed it with the K & N filter replacement. It was too crappy to ride at the time. This Saturday I went for a ride. Wow. the thing breathed a hell of a lot better. Engine ran much smoother, and the powerband came to life. The bike doesn't have a lot of miles on it (10,000.00) but I guess because of how old the filter was, pretty much did it in. I also did it for my '05 sprtster. Much smoother as well. I encourage everyone to ditch those poopy paper filters if you haven't already.

 

Make sure to pick up the K&N filter cleaner and oil. I found out last year that cleaning the darn thing makes a BIG difference!

 

I have it. I have a K & N in my car, truck and sportbike. Just cleaned and resprayed the car filter about a month ago.
