changing drive pulley
Getting the mainshaft nut off is a pita. The tool you need is a 2 1/4" socket that's about 7" deep and has a pilot that threads onto the mainshaft to support the socket. Then you need a big breaker bar or impact gun to break the nut loose. My socket has a 1/2" drive, and I didn't have a breaker bar big enough to do the job, so I used a 2 foot long pipe wrench, and hung a 6 ft section of galvanized fence post off it as a cheater. Then hung my 200+ pounds off the end of the fence post to get the nut free. It felt like it was welded on. (lower your bike to the ground if you use this method, or you'll pull it off the lift)
