Bummer I would try and ride more LOL. I paid for mine while putting 80,000 miles on my 04 and it now has 16000 miles on my 2011. It has been a free filter for quite a while for me.

Looked at them two years ago. Did some research and found out, this is one more thing I don't need to spend money on. JMO

As long as it looks good on the outside, right? Chrome will get you home.

I am interested... now what's the difference with the K&P and the PC Racing Flo other than the price?

Thanks,

Scott

Default Stainless Mesh Oil Filters

As far as not throwing filters away, a reusable mesh filter is better obviously. A reusable high dollar polished oil filter is better if you are a guy that obsesses over obscure details on a street bike, otherwise it's a racing item(for inspection purposes only, there are ZERO hp gains to be had), pure and simple. Shoot even the K&N is a waste, nut on the end for 6-7 bucks? Get the cup tool and buy HD or Wix , you're more than good.

K&P would be the obvious choice then.
