what jacket liner are you going to use?
my gerbing jkt liner has two inputs..
one is for the liner
the second is a run through for the gloves.

I am going to use the Gerbing jacket liner and thought I only needed a dual cont if I was using pants also.

You may find out that you want the dual controller because your hands may need more heat than your torso, but the liner and gloves will work off of a single.

I also mounted my dual controller on the tank console. I used a heavy duty rubber band to go around the console. The belt clip from the controller just hooks right in; the power lead goes right under the seat to the battery. Easy to hook up and easy to adjust with big gloves on.

with the newer Gerbing jackets.. you may need a "Y" splitter to accommodate the power distribution in the jacket if you use a single controller, and also use gloves.

We have portable ones with dual controls but don't use em often too much to monkey around instead we just use on off switch easy to plug in and go.
