bartb1200...if that was a rear...you have a good dealer....My (ex) Svc Mgn had to talk to the GM and he had to talk to the VP.....So, I had a AH talking to a Paper Pusher who spoke to a whatever......and got no-were. Now I go elsewhere.....
Good for you! But I think you will still have a problem with the rear...I did and no one could give a crap...neither HD or Dunlop at the time.
I know for fact that Dunlop is looking hard at the new tire design which isn't out yet.
Well, maybe Dunlop should look less hard at the new tire design and friggin' ship them out? They've been announced for more than 6 months now, and they're still not available. <sigh>
I called Jake Wilson 5mn ago and they were supposed to ship one to me 10/10 and they haven't received them yet. I was told "maybe next week". Yeah, maybe .......... or maybe not. <sigh>
Dealer called last night and says MOCO will replace the front tire but not the rear as it has 12K miles on it and it is past its expected life span. My issue is that it still has greater than 4/32" anywhere you measure tread depth, so the tire is not worn out it just has not worn correctly as the cupping on the sides is so bad it sounds like my 4X4 when I lean into a turn!
I believe that if cupping was not an issue I could easily get anopther 5K miles out of the rear tire. I am going to call HD tech support today .....wish me luck with that....
Neversatisfied.....call HD cust sve ask for Matt (Mgr or something)....Worthless but he was sometype of supervisior. I went right up to the Pres Ofc....NG...I am on my third rear....milage pretty good but it it wore properly woulld be a 20k tire. Sure sound like a 4x4 when you reach around 12-14k. Good luck!
Well I just got off the phone with customer service and got no where. Everyone I talked to told me the same thing...that the tire has to many miles on it. Now I need to look at what brand I will replace them with as I don't think i want to put Dunlop back on.
