I have already received my LongRide Shield. Wow! That was fast! I ordered it Tuesday and it is installed on Thursday, two days later! It looks great. Unfortunately, the rain and cold got here at the exact same time. So... I guess I will have to wait to see (feel) how it performs...

The results are in! The new shield is GREAT! 10.5" is the perfect height for me and the light smoke is not too much tint for comfort at night. The only buffetting I get is Jimmy from the MP3 player!
I can see over the windshield just fine yet there is no extra wind or bugs in the face. The top of the shield also seems a little wider than the stock shield a the same point, but I have not measures that. The stereo is just as easily heard. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the wife is a fan as well! It has made no difference to her experience AT ALL.
