Grab bar upgrade I hope
This is my first post and my first Harley.....Been lurking for a few months and really enjoy the wealth of information here....Got my first, an 02 electra glide standard with 10,000 mi. Paid $8500.00 the bike was a little rough but with some work she is starting to look pretty good.
The first things that bothered me was the giant liscense plate above the fender, the pitted front forks....after puttin on new e3's thanks to the recomendations here.. i am tackeling my next project tonight....
When I first got the bike the head bolts were semi rusted and pitted so i imeditatly went to ebay and ordered some head bolt covers without knowing they were stiletto, not my look, so i never installed them..Got some others from Harley I am happy with..Anyway the stiolettos came to good use.
Cut the grab bar with my dremmil..and hopefully the pics will tell the rest of the story...
Previewed my post and saw i could only post a limited amount of pics..oh well what do you expect from a first post.........

Finished the mod..I like it, kind of custom but kinda stock looking...gonna add one of those brightasslights..only problem no liscense plate light...anyone have any ideas how to deal with that?

I did led flexable arrays from radiantz stuck to the side of the fillers with a bracket I made from corner edge guards that go on out side corners of walls. For the license plate light I had a led smoke laydown taillight made from ridetimetech and he also put 3 white leds in the bottom for the tag.
