Its starting to get that I dont want to buy anymore OEM after-market "small" parts. The holes on mid-frame air deflectors 58022-07A do not line up with the holes on the frame of my 2003 FLHTC and one would have to have "pixie" hands to get one of the bolts in if it did fit. I will be taking it back to see if I can get a refund. The 12 Volt Tour-Pak Power Supply (91671-10) also did not fit (I was able to modify it) and the instructions were wrong (to undo the tour-pak mounting plate in addition to the bolts the instructions talk about you have to undo the actual tour-pak mounting bolts and others). Wake up Harley! You make a lot of money on these accessories and this is not the 1st time.
What did you expect? The bikes themselves are overpriced garbage. Why would you expect anything else of the parts and accessories?
I respecfully disagree with this statement!!! Harley Davidson makes excellent quality motorcycles. I have owned six starting with a Sportster, and now on my second bagger. The only things I had the Dealer do besides service is a few service bulletin repairs. Granted they are overpriced, but so is everything else. why would anybody own a Harley and feel this way?????

I've encountered my share of confusing/wrong instructions from MOCO. But your 12 Volt power supply accessory doesn't say it will fit you 2003 FLHTC tour pak. The accessory uses the holes on 2006 and newer tour paks that accommodate the rubber bumper on the bottom of the tour pak, (but those holes aren't found on 2005 or older tour paks), or the holes used to mount tour pak speaker pods (which a Classic would not normally have unless the owner added them). Perhaps you can do a write-up on how you were able to adapt the 12 volt power supply to work on your '03 EG Classic to help others who would like the accessory but don't know if it will work on their bikes since their models aren't included in HD's fitment information for the accessory.
I've purchased HD accessories and adapted them to my '04 police EG many times, and you may have had to do the same to make the 12 volt power supply accessory work on your '03 Classic. Usually, I'm just pleased that I have been able to adapt an accessory that HD didn't say would work on my bike, but will work with some modifications.

Man this pi$$'s me off, I get up and sit down with a cup of coffee to read some intelligent info and this BS hit's me. I've also bought a lot of accessories from HD for my bike. only had one issue with a chrome windshield trim piece. Took it back with no problems. Every manufacturer makes mistakes. Why bash Harley Davidson Bikes???? Go guy a goldwing, I'm sure they are perfect!!!!!
I am with you Ron, don't know why some of these people buy HD. They probably never had one and don't understand what they are getting. Just think it will increase their ***** size and are disappointed when it doesn't.
They make a lot of money on the aftermarket accessories but don't seem to put much time into improving them once they are designed and released. I've had some problems too with things that did not fit right out of the box, but with some work, the component does get attached. Problem is that other than the motor, a lot of Harley tolerances are very wide, which makes it hard to get the accessories to fit just perfect every time. Their instructions too could use an upgrade. At the same time, the other brands of aftermarket things are not any better, sometimes worse. I have to deal with some issue just about every time I add something.

The reasons why accessories to don't fit right are becuase most of them they are made by someone way far away that has never even seen a Harley and the direction are bad becuase they don't speak engrish.

I guess you can't really expect much more intelligence out of someone who refers to himself as a dink (shlongman). Simple solution Ken....sell your RK and buy a Jap built bike.
