Default Ape hanger bars in Ohio

Looking at ordering Wild One's 572 14" ape hangers for my '09 Road King Classic. I know that Ohio is one of the states that has a restriction on handlebar height. I remember reading it some where but can ony recall that it states that bar height can only be so many inches above seat height. Does anyone remember what the measurement restriction is and if it is even enforced? I would love to go taller but am really hesitant. I am thinking 14" are not to high to draw much attention even though the they are probably over the limit. Any thoughts or experiences?

I am 99% sure it is 15" above seat height. I believe this can be from the lip of the seat on gas tank (not sure though)

I don't think Ohio is too strict about it unless it is way out of control an high. You should be good and have no worries.

15" is the RULE! Me and a bud were just talkn about this the other day, kinda ironic. He runs a pretty cool stripped down Dresser with Jack Daniels emblem on the tank (both sides) and is very cool! But his Apes are WAAAAAY Up there! Hes hilarious! First time I had seen him since he got back from Daytona. He was crackn me up! Said "dropped the Jack Daniels Bike at Daytona,... Drinkn all day,... full snoot of crank,.... LOL!" Hardcore Baby!
