You may want to try rolling your bars back, a little goes a long way, pop the cover off, loosen two allen head bolts, roll it back, tighten back up, 5 mins and its free. took care of my elbow problem that i had from reachin, the grips are a little lower and feel comfortable to me, may do the trick.

I installed a set of HD Reach bars myself (Dealer quoted AUS$1800 to do it for me). Left the wiring external and didn't need to buy anything else but the bars. I'm 5' 7" and the bars have made an amazing difference to my comfort levels.

changing bars is a costly mod, do it right from the first time or you will regret it and you will pay twice to get it right, go for it all, the comfort, the look from the first time, go ape and go at least 16" or you will regret it, I promise.
