The way Florida Joe's set-up is designed, the harness runs along the top of the backbone.

Yes it does, but it is worth it. The amount of work to remove the tank vs. trying to run all those wires is a worthwhile trade off.

Different Combinations

On my Ultra I have all Soft Blue around the motor, Red on horn backside and air intake backside, and whites on the backside of the 3 brake calipers. I use a 4 output controller that has 4 different effects on each out put. My usual set-up is : I run the motor on Blue around 50% brightness, I Fade the Reds in and out , and then strobe the wheels with whites. The Blue and Red Combo makes the motor area look like it's breathing or a heart-beat effect, The Whites added give it the lightning storm effect, Shop around, best thing I have is the 4 zone, 4 effects controller, it lets you do any combination.

No problem with the stickies. But if you do for one reason or another, 3M commercial double sided tape works great, sometimes too well.

I have Joe Florida's 120 LED multicolor with remote... its great! still in its place, but I did put cable ties to ensure they dont fall off the bottom frame of the bike...
