Hey all. I just purchased a set of Jackpot dyno tuned pipes and a Thundermax autotune system from Jamie. Anybody running these on their SG? I have a 2009. Just put Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather spike on it yesterday...waiting for the tuner and pipes. Hope it gives me a nice boost. Will let ya know how I like it. If anyone is running these, I would love to hear your feedback
I'm running the Thundermax-Autotune on my '06 and love it. Absolutely no problems, great throttle response, good mileage , and more power. I get my new software upgrade every year at Sturgis from the guys at the Thundremax booth in Rapid City at the Harley dealership.
These guys stand behind there product 100%. They do my upgrade for nothing and check to make sure there are no problems. You will love it!
Thanks Bagger Dave. I can't wait. I watched the videos and read all I could find. The new system with wide band O2 sensors would seem to make life very easy, especially when I do further mods to my engine.
Just got my ThunderMax installed. with the Screaming Eagle slip ons (don't want it to loud for the ole lady) 3 weeks ago by MotoCycos an indy by my job and I'm pissed I waited so long. Throttle response improved, haven't bothered with mileage I'm enjoying the response.
Got my Thundermax at Daytona this year along with Rinehart true duals. The new tbw version for the 09s and 2010s. They had a problem with the some of the units so they did a recall upgrade to the units. Took about a week. I never had a problem with mine, but it was good to see the fast action taken by the co. The bike runs great. I do have an occasional decel pop that I am working on. This thing lets you adjust just about anything you can think of with tuning ( if you know what you want to do) or if you are like me I just use the auto tune and let it do the work for me. So far its been good.
Just a quick update. I installed the Thundermax with autotune yesterday. I also put on a Screaming Eagle heavy breather a/c and a set of Jackpot dyno tuned mufflers. This bike runs fantastic. What a difference. I can roll on the throttle at 2500 rpm and she pulls hard all the way up to 6200...Now, I need a chrome ft end and maybe more cubes! Woo Hoo
