Check out the Sena BT Headsets. Several of the folks I ride with have them (including my wife and I) and they work excellent. They aren't cheap, they work. Checkout the Web Bike World reviews. The Sena beats them all.. http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcyc...h10-part-2.htm
An intercom with your passenger is relatively easy, compared with bike-to-bike. Frankly, in my modest experience, we can send a man to the Moon, but don't seem able to provide decent bike-to-bike radios, or even really good quality rider-passenger.
In fact these things are like rear shocks! Some people are easily pleased with theirs, while others never get a decent experience. I have finally sorted my bike to stop it bottoming out, but have yet to find an excellent rider-passenger intercom.
well if I buy all the harley stuff it comes out to 1100 bucks or so...
thats the CB setup/communications kit/ wire harness/ antenna/ my headset and the wifes and then to get flashed
and thats jumps higher if I decided to get rear speakers and then the setup is a little different also....
I have a 09 EGC and looking for good and if possible a cheap way to get intercom and possibly B2B so I can talk with my Dad on his goldwing...
let me know what anyone uses or a good way to go about setting it up.
I wanted the same thing but not to spend the $1100+ for the set up. If you want the Harley setup, The best thing I found is eBay. I have almost everything needed to have the CB/Intercom set up the way I want. And not the way Harley sell it. I took the CB from eBay for half of the cost from the dealer. I purchased the Fuel tank headset hookup because I don't want any "Two Sided Tape" on my gas tank. I bought the Non-Ultra wiring Harness from a forum member for less than the dealer. All I have left is the Intercom itself. I will use the one that has the setup for use without the Tour Pak.
So far I have only spent about $325. Even if I bought the Intercom from a dealer, I still will save money.
If you want something else, you should check J&M Corp. They have a great CB setup. I used the J&M CB/Intercom setup on my harley before Harley had one.

Scala, no wires to screw with. We have the Q2 which we bought before the new one came out and it works great. Plus it's blu-tooth to my garmin and my telephone if needed.
