I have read the many threads on tuners. I looked on eBay and I can buy a new sealed box SE Pro Super Tuner 32109-08B for $265.99 free shipping.
I have a PC-V with a canned map, I'm running a SE 255 cam with V&H's duals and Monster Ovals with Stage 1 AC. I have been thinking about getting rid of the PC-V mainly because, I have to keep the PC-V under my seat...with ABS it's a tight fit anywhere else. Now for my question...do you think the SE Pro Tuner would be better than the PC-V? I know I can get autotune for the PC-V..but remember I don't want anymore pieces of equipment under the seat. I know many will also say buy a TTS but..the price seems right for the SE tuner for $265.99. I will get a dynotune also with either one. Thanks for any comments.

sweetglide, I just purchased the same tuner (new 32109-08B - orange) on ebay for $270 for my 2008 Ultra and am very happy with it. I had a Power Commander on my 2007 Fatboy and liked it as well. However, I like the idea of tuning via changing the ECM and not with a piggy back add on like the Power Commander. The new SEPST has a smart tune feature that makes it a lot easier for the owner to tune the bike.
I just did a stage III motor upgrade to a 103" with 10.5:1 pistons, SE 259E cams, SE Adjustable Push Rods to go along with previous Stage 1 components. The SEPST was ideal for this upgrade and I really like the way the bike runs.
Well...strange thing happened. I was all set to buy the SEPST from eBay and then I decided to go with the TTS Master Tuner. I got a good price from PhatPerformanceParts and I have heard nothing but good things about the TTS Master Tune. I hope I made the right decision...time will tell.
You'll love the TTS; get the specs for your cams (lift & duration) then search through the canned maps Master-Tune gives you to choose from. Find a map that closely matches your build but more (most IMO) importantly, has the exact cam specs as yours.
Grab that map and then select "Table Selection" scroll down to the bottom and click on "ECM tuning constants" now you can make the necessary adjustments to profile your settings to match your bike.
