What the TT410 doesn't cover is a faulty TPS. It suggests checking TPS voltage but doesn't suggest that it may be malfunctioning and needs to be replaced. I'm not sure how a user can measure this voltage but assume the display shown is from the HD Digital Technician. I wonder if the Power Vision or other flash-based tuners can display this info. I also have the TT410 if anyone wants to email me.

When you replaced your TPS did you open it up too see why it failed?

Exactly, and the h9gh idle issue seems to be mostly a TPS issue.
Did you ever find out what the problem was? My 07 FLHTC is doing the same thing.
I dont know who you are ref to. Some of us it was replace the TPS, some cleaned the IAC, some had a dealer download something and rarely it is a head temp sender.
07 Road King Custom bought it new at South Coast HD in National City, Ca jan 2008. Great peeps! I have 51,000 miles on it. Anyhow went to AZ and got some bad gas at a cheap gas station. Noticed the low idle halfway to AZ right after i gassed up.
When I got home spoke to a HD tech & he told me it could be 3 things IAC, Speed sensor or temp sensor. Tech showed me how to check for codes on bike, which revealed no codes ,therefore narrowing it down to the IAC. Was running great but low idle when warmed up. Checked for leaks on intake and was negative. Put good gas and cleaned IAC, which helped for a few miles, but the same problem reoccured.
I took off my seat & 3 bolts total on tank, the gas gauge pigtail, gas hose in front of tank, and the removable gas hose underneath tank to remove my tank & gain access to IAC bolts. It's so easy & saves you time doing this way instead of trying different tricks in removing the bolts on the IAC withouth removing the gas tank. Oh also removed AC and backplate. Was super easy. Now i have a quicker throttle response & idles normal. Never messed with the idle control screw on throttlebody, but I would assume that gets wear n tear also on stopper n screw.
Anyhow checked my old IAC & I was really suprised it had a creamy substance in it and spring looked like a Tijuana ***** all worn out. Really suprises me because i use 91 petro & put fuel treatment every now n then. So I hope this helps!!! Knees to the wind!!!!
