Does anyone have a link to HD TT410 bulletin? I tried some of the links on here but couldn't get them to work. This has been a problem on my '07 Ultra , but just found the thread. Thanks.
I've had low idle issues for the past year or so with my 07 Electra Glide Standard
I've cleaned the IAC as mentioned in past threads, hasn't helped much. One of my biggest issues is my low MPG.city riding I'm in the mid 30 MPG, freeway I'm lucky to hit 40 MPG.
I had my local deal check for the current program update and they said i have the current on.
what else do I need to look at? Is my MPG lower than normal?
I know others with 96 eng and 5 gallon tanks getting 150 to 200 miles per tank. I'm luck to hit 125

35 to 40 mpg will get you 150 to 200 miles per tank; 125 miles per tank is 25 mpg. Also, riding style has a major effect on gas mileage. I get 31 combined, with Stage 1, SERT, dyno-tuned, with my riding style, though taking it easy on the highway I've got over 40.
The bike idles!!!! Replaced a hose that was 90% separated. The hose was one of two found between the air intake and the induction module. They connect directly to the engine. I rode it hard this morning and although the idle is low it didn't stall. I tried to track down the actual names for the hoses and component they both attach to between the air intake and the induction module but had no luck.
I had both low idle and fast idle from time to time on my 06 flhtcui, the problem went away when I loosened up the throttle cable to the point where there was a little play in it
my bike recently started doing this from time to time. Starts up fine, ride it a few miles to a gas station, get gas then start up to have really low idle...almost sounds like its going to die so i give it some gas and the idle goes real high and stays there. It goes back down to normal though at the next stop light. Then it will ride fine after that. Not every time does it do this, just once in a while after i start it when its warm ill get the low idle or high idle. Its enough to be annoying, and seems to be happening more often. I did flash my bike with an FP3 tuner about a year ago, wondering if i need to reflash it. Anyone out there with an FP3 tuner have to reflash it because of these reasons?
09 streetglide, 46K miles started high idle (2k) yesterday on cold start. shut off and went down to 1k, rode home 50 miles and it was fine. started it this morning and 2k idle, sure the neighbors loved it at 415 am. it did come down to 1k after a few seconds and a couple blips of throttle. tts master tune with 124 CI motor. 10.8-1 comp

sometimes people open the throttle on a efi when starting, that can cause idle problems . confuse's the ecu
Good day, Riders. Thank you for all your replies to this problem. My own experience follows: I ride a '06 FLHTCUSE (CVO Touring) and have had the low idle problem since obtaining the bike. I live in an area with a HD dealership that only believes in replacing parts as opposed to finding the cause to any problem. I have, through this site contacted individuals whom I have the greatest respect for to ask their assistance in solving my slow idle issues. The Stealership has installed, at 3 different times, new IAC modules to "cure" the slow speed idle issue. If this fixed the problem; it was certainly short lived. When the '06-'07's were first released so many new owners redirected the the cylinder oil fumes out of the air cleaner because they knew the damage and problems these fumes would cause both to the IAC and the fuel injection system. I have since redirected the cylinder fumes out of the AF, however, I still have the slow speed idle issues. I have tried everything even monthly cleaning of the IAC valve and cannot stop this intermittent problem from happening. PLEASE keep posting your attempts and results for eliminating this problem.
Thank you
