I bought a set for my 09 StreetGlide. They were the older style and the turn signals hit when trying to maneuver in tight spots. I used them until it warmed up and then removed them. I can't say I like them or dislike them but I didn't reinstall them in the fall. I have since bought another set of the newer style which didn't hit the turn signals. I must not like them as much as others do because they are sitting on the shelf next to the other set. I probably will install them for the fall riding season as they do help keep the air off the legs. One thing of note is if you are using a S.E. heavy breather you will need to buy a shorter air filter to use the glove box on that side.

i have vented ones on my 07 EGC. I really like the look and i will be adding speakers to the lowers. As far as the extra heat i havent really noticed any difference with them on.

I love the look of a batwing with lowers. Nice to have the glove boxes. I will leave them on for another couple of weeks, but plan on hanging them up in the garage during July and August. They do hold in a little extra heat on your legs, but help cool the motor when you're moving. Even without the quick disconnect kit, they only take about 10 minutes to install or remove.

Standard equipement on an Ultra, and I like them. On my '06, I changed out the leather flaps for the locking solid door. Will upgrade to those doors again at some point.

they are noticably hot in the warm weather. you have to get used to your boot hitting the inside when the vents are in the open position. also the right side if your not used to it, you could be hitting the lower and not the brakes its that tight. but all said and done they will be comming off soon because of the heat. the rubber doors are worthless junk with bad snaps. i had mine delivered painted at my door for 550. from my dealer. i wouldnt pay 1000

Due to Texas summers (Apr-Nov)...I havent ordered them....yet. Dont really like the fact of 'no speakers' on the Hogg Chops. I have had Lakeshore's, Zanotti's, and Chicago HD pages up several times, ($534, $535, & $519 respectively) ....especially when at work....only to 'cancel'. Ive done search after search on Ebay for em...just havent found that 'set'...yet. I want em....I like the looks of em...especially on bikes with the tour pak detached. I want the fairing speaker kit too.

They're on my 'Ima Gonna' list.....

Billy G

PS....Glad this nite is almost over....Chicago's price is really 'aggin' me on.

I added the non vented HD hard lowers (non vented is all that is available for FLTRs) and they do cut down on buffeting to your head and face quite a bit. Unfortunately being non vented they also add to the heat. Just this past weekend I did a poker run and noticed my motor was really getting hot so I think I will take them off for the summer months. They do cut down on the buffeting problems known on Road Glides though.

Bought a set in May for my 09' Street Glide and have not taken them off.Love the look it finishes off the fornt end look.Yes you can feel extra heat around your legs on hotter days but for the most part not all that bad.As for wind deflecton cant say as it makes a huge difference. But i have also added a longride 6" shield and fork baffel. Also i have noticed when shifting i hit the **** that opens the deflector but have since paid more attention of my where my foot is.So was it worth the money yes ($535) for $1000 no
