It should be noted that lowers for the RG, although available as a H-D accessory, do not have vents like the lowers on the bikes that have the Batwing fairing. I added Hoppe vents to my 2000 RG with lowers but have not added them to the 2008 RG lowers. The instructions that come with those vents are only for Batwing lowers. The manufacturer says they will work on RG lowers, and they will, but only if you are very, very careful.
The web page link provided by Grillfish says their products are only applicable through the 2004 Ultra. No mention of RG or of later years. Explanation?
